Joining the Team: How to Join, Payment Methods, and Locations

Joining System

Note: This excludes anyone already practicing and continuing with martial arts.

Joining the team isn’t immediate; preparation and setup are required. We prepare a new batch every month or three months, depending on availability. An intensive foundational lecture and workshop cover both theoretical and practical aspects to ensure the style suits you. The coach decides if you’re ready or need prior preparation before registration or monthly subscription. This ensures that trainees understand the system and can commit effectively.

Steps to Join

  1. Registration:

    • Send your name, age, job, and Facebook link via WhatsApp.
    • Send a picture of the payment transfer to confirm your foundational lecture booking. You will be added to a lecture group for date notifications.
    • The lecture is typically held on a Friday at 6 PM, with the specific date announced once the group is full.

  2. Foundational Lecture:

    • Includes practical and theoretical explanations of the methodology, training plan, and goal setting. More details here.
    • The lecture lasts 2-4 hours depending on the number of participants, at a reduced rate of 200 EGP instead of 400 EGP to ensure maximum benefit and suitability before joining.

  3. Evaluation:

    • After the lecture, the coach assesses your readiness to join the team based on neuromuscular compatibility and response speed.

  4. Confirming Registration:

    • Upon the coach’s approval, you can confirm your registration and join the team.

Prices and Subscriptions

  • Monthly Subscription: 1600 EGP for 8 sessions per month.
  • Half-Month Subscription: 800 EGP for 4 sessions coordinated based on available days.
  • Triple Subscription Offer:
    • 1500 EGP for the first month.
    • 1000 EGP for the second month.
    • 500 EGP for the third month.
    • Total: 3000 EGP instead of 4800 EGP. In case of cancellation, the monthly rate is adjusted to the regular price.

Sessions officially last 1-1.5 hours, extending to 2 hours based on participation, including strength and conditioning training. Absentees can make up for missed sessions with another team at no extra cost.

  • Individual Session: 600 EGP outside the monthly subscription or offers.

This is a very sensitive question, and you should be honest with yourself when answering, considering your needs and abilities. However, we can say that if you’re looking for a martial art that involves competitions, relies on strength and intense training, and requires high physical fitness, and you have the time and energy for it, then MMA might be a good option for you. On the other hand, if you’re looking for an effective, diverse, and non-aggressive self-defense art, and you have the patience to learn, and competitions aren’t your main focus, then AIKI-CHUN might be the best option for you.

 

Training relies on three important elements that your body needs to reprogram: building muscle memory, controlling adrenaline, and adapting to changes. Training stages include:

 

Logical thinking about movement and dealing with anything in motion.

Understanding strategies and military psychology and combat psychology.

Training on coordinating leg and arm movements and synchronizing them.

Training on hand and foot striking techniques and building muscle memory.

Training on interception, control, throwing, and domination.

Dealing with sharp weapons and fighting tools.

Training on ground fighting.

Mohamed Yousry El Fayez is the founder of the AIKI-CHUN system, with 20 years of experience in martial arts. He has trained over 25 trainers both inside and outside Egypt. He has participated in national performance championships and won gold medals. He holds the following ranks:

 

5th Dan in Aikido Reel.

3rd Dan in Aikido Takimoso.

2nd Dan in Aiki-Kai Ki.

Blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

sifu degree in Wing Chun from the RG school in China.
